Back in 1998, I was really interested in racking up as many of those "Best Site Awards" and "Affiliated Site" logos and links I could get my hands on. An entire page was invested in displaying some of them. Now, admittedly, some of the logos were clever, and a lot of the people offering them seemed like nice people. Some of the images were very creative, and, at the time, it really seemed to give the place prestige. The one page of awards we never put up in eleven years was a page for the awards Mary Stuart Masterson won. Sure, they would get a post on the FYI pages, but never got a page of their own. Well, now the "Critical Mass" award and the "4 Slice Site" award are in the Mary Stu's Tavern Museum as an exhibit of an Internet in in its infancy. The main section of this site will now have only ONE awards page, and that is for the awards won by Mary Stuart Masterson. We may be eleven years slow, but we eventually catch up.
